Currently Listening to: this Game of Thrones Playlist lmao I'm too excited to watch Season 8.

Peace Corps Volunteers turn on #VacationMode.

PCVs get 2 days of annual leave (AL) per month, as well as national holidays off. Holy Week (i.e., Good Friday, Easter, etc.) is a great opportunity to take a week of vacation for only 3 days of AL. I went to Palawan, one of the Philippines most popular tourist destinations, with some of my best friends and made a video about it.

We did the Underground River Tour in Puerto Princesa, Tours A and C in El Nido, and the Ultimate Coron Tour. Kat and I also went diving in Coron, but we didn't get any footage of that. Our first dive was at Barracuda Lake, which is a lake that has both fresh and salt water. It's lie 30 degrees Celsius on the surface, then 39 degrees when you go deeper -- it's like diving in a hot tub. We also checked out a couple of WWII shipwrecks, which made me kind of OBSESSED because diving near a shipwreck is like being in a museum. If you have any questions about where we stayed, what we ate, or what we did, feel free to drop a line!
