Steph and Steven in San Juan, La Union

Steven, my boyfriend (yeah, our names are really similar. Moving on!), and I took a trip to San Juan, La Union a few weeks ago. San Juan is the surfing capital of the Northern Philippines, and I got to surf for the FIRST TIME EVER! Which was... insane. And now I'm obsessed and am going to go back later this month when I'm in Manila for a training. The San Juan beach is a little strip with plenty of food and surfing options. It's currently the off season, so the waves weren't that crazy, but I still got to ride some good ones.

This trip was followed by a stint in Baguio, which was kind of the opposite of San Juan (cool air, mountains, big city), but only a few hours away. I'm still working through the footage from that, so I'll post that when I finish it! Until then, please enjoy this little snapshot of my trip in La Union <3
